Key Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for many duties throughout the development lifecycle of applications – from concept and design right through to testing. Your core responsibilities include:
- Conducting software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
- Identifying production and non-production application issues
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are following specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Skills/Experience
- BSc degree in a technology-related field preferable
- Proficiency JavaScript with +3 years solid exposure at an academic or professional level
- Must be interested in pursuing a professional career in JavaScript The essentials:
o BSc Computer Science or similar tertiary qualification
o Strong object-oriented programming skills
o SQL knowledge using Oracle DB design patterns
o Developer tools in chrome or IE Experience in: JavaScript ES6+ HTML CSS Angular jQuery
o Helpful Knowledge: REST Web Services (node.js and JavaEE) Developer tools in chrome or IE Java / JEE development (Helpful) Jasmine Mockito GIT
